SENTRY Pulsation Dampeners
SENTRY Pulsation Dampeners & Surge Suppressors remove hydraulic shock and vibration, enhancing all-around performance and reliability of fluid flow applications.
Positive Displacement (PD) pumps create pulsation and hydraulic shock due to the reciprocating nature of their stroking action, potentially damaging the entire pumping system.
BLACOH's SENTRY Pulsation Dampeners & Surge Suppressors remove virtually all hydraulic shock, enhancing all-around performance and reliability of fluid flow in industrial and chemical transfer applications.
SENTRY BENEFITS:
SENTRY FEATURES:
SENTRY Pulsation & Surge Control
SENTRY Inlet Stabilizers improve liquid flow to the inlet side of any pump, extending the service life of all inlet system components.
Positive displacement (PD) pumps contain an inlet valve that alternatively opens and closes, creating an acceleration and deceleration of fluid into the pump.
The patented "J" Model Inlet Stabilizer works to minimize these pressure fluctuations and acceleration head losses by preventing fluid column separation at the pump's inlet. This improved flow to the pump's inlet effectively extends the service life of all inlet system components.
INLET STABILIZER BENEFITS:
INLET STABILIZER FEATURES:
SENTINEL Diaphragm Seals
SENTINEL Diaphragm Seals protect and isolate all forms of system instrumentation from hazardous and corrosive process fluids.
Without proper protection, hazardous and corrosive process fluids regularly contaminate and damage system instrumentation. The strength and durability of SENTINEL Diaphragm Seals protect and isolate all forms of system instrumentation for a minimum of three years...guaranteed.
SENTINEL BENEFITS:
SENTINEL FEATURES:
BACK PRESSURE VALVES
SENTINEL diaphragm back pressure valves are designed to enhance the performance of pumping systems by applying a continuous back pressure to the system pump, while also acting as an anti-syphon valve. Robust construction ensures reliability in the rigorous service of municipal and industrial applications. Wetted materials include: PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, PTFE, 316 SS, A 20 and Hastelloy C. Available sizes: 1/4" - 4" depending on model.
FEATURES:
SENTINEL diaphragm back pressure valves apply positive discharge pressure to a metering pump system to prevent siphoning and eliminate varying dosage rates caused by fluctuating downstream pressure. The diaphragm is held against the valve seat by an internal spring. When the preset pressure is exceeded, the diaphragm is forced up and system fluid flows through the valve to the injection point. The valves are preset for 50 psi, however they are field adjustable from 10 - 150 psi via the adjustment screw. Installation should be as close to the injection point as possible to prevent system line drainage, and it is most important that all pumping system equipment such as pulsation dampeners and pressure gauges are between the pump and back pressure valve.
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES
SENTINEL diaphragm pressure relief valves are designed to protect pumping systems from over pressure damage caused by defective equipment or a blockage in the pump system line. Robust construction ensures reliability in the rigorous service of municipal and industrial applications. Wetted materials include: PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, PTFE, 316 SS, A 20 and Hastelloy C. Available sizes: 1/4" - 4" depending on model.
FEATURES:
SENTINEL diaphragm pressure relief valves operate when the pressure in the pumping system exceeds the preset pressure of the valve. The diaphragm is held against the valve seat by an internal spring. When the preset pressure is exceeded the diaphragm is forced up and the system fluid flows out the relief port, back to the system fluid tank or to the suction side of the pump. The valves are pre-set at 50 psi, however they are field adjustable from 10 - 150 psi, (optional 350 psi) via the adjustment screw. The relief valve should be set approximately 15 psi higher than the system pressure. Installation should be made as close to the pump as possible, without any valves or accessories between the relief valve and the pump. Consult your pump manufacturer for recommendations.
SPILLSTOP Leak Containment
More than just leak detection! The patented SPILLSTOP Leak Containment System prevents costly and hazardous spills caused by pump diaphragm failure.
Diaphragm failure of your Air Operated Diaphragm Pump allows process fluid to escape from the pump's air exhaust port. Unmonitored, the spill can create an extreme expense for your company in lost product, material cleanup, and EPA reporting.
The patented SPILLSTOP Leak Containment System prevents costly and hazardous spills caused by pump diaphragm failure. The SPILLSTOP's patented design safely captures leaked product while effectively shutting down failing pumps. Optional warning alarm and backup pump switchover further ensures maximum productivity and minimal system downtime.
